Artists Launch Peace Movement and Fundraising Campaign for IDPs in Kachin State

A group of musicians led by U Ye Lwin has launched an awareness raising and fundraising initiative in Rangoon. The group performed in public areas such teashops and restaurants in Rangoon and collected donations for people displaced by war in Kachin State. Performances will take place weekly on every Sunday and the group will take the donations to Kachin State and make contributions firsthand.
